From experience, this is not a bean that can go into a pressure cooker. It produces too much gas while cooking. I tried once. It was ridiculously messy. It's a DIFFICULT bean.
My mother would leave it cooking all night in a clay pot. It would be done, but never soft.
Loved this. The bean that refuses to yield! I wonder if Njahi would soften in a pressure cooker or would resist that too?
